Volleyball is one of the most popular mass sports in the United States. In 2023, it ranked as the top women's team sport in high schools and colleges in the United States. The participation of American youth in boys' volleyball has increased by 40% in the past five years, making it the fastest-growing team sports project nationwide. Volleyball is also one of the most suitable team sports for Asian Americans in the United States.With the goal of promoting volleyball, the Dancheng Chinese School and the Denver Chinese Volleyball Association (DCVA) have jointly launched volleyball training classes for teenagers and adults. The classes take place every Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 3:00 at the Dancheng Chinese School gymnasium. The curriculum is designed for students of various skill levels and focuses on fundamental volleyball skills, basic offensive and defensive theories, and team collaboration. The classes are taught by experienced coaches from DCVA, and training balls are provided by the association.
