GOALS & FUTURE

From a few people and one volleyball net, DCVA has gathered more and more members and held numerous events. In the future, we will participate in and organize various competitions to enhance DCVA's visibility. We will also collaborate with more organizations to provide sports and social opportunities for the Chinese community in Denver.

Jamie Bredahl

Experience: 15+ yrs
Major Volleyball Events:

Won 4 National Titles with Durham University Women's Team

Competed a year in National English Volleyball League

Played in Front Range Volleyball Club in Colorado
·
Received Division 1 scholarship at Northeastern University and played in the team for 4 years

Led Northeastern Men's Club Team and Finished Top Five at the National Championship

Lead Setting Coach for the NYC Juniors Club
·
Head Coached 15-18U Teams for the NYC Juniors Club for 3 years

Matthew Ng

Experience: 15+ yrs

Played 4 years Division 3 volleyball in college
·
Participated in Collegiate Division III USA tour of Brazil
·
Competed a year in University and National English Leagues
·
Won Three National Titles with Durham University Men's team
·
Currently in New York Lost Travellers in the Volleyball League of American (VLA)

DCVA's first gathering in the summer of 2020.

First summer outdoor tournament

2021/8/28

The first volleyball tournament organized by DCVA was held at Willow Creek Park. There were a total of 5 teams participated.

First participation in a volleyball league

2021/12-2022/3

In the winter of 2021, DCVA had two teams participating in the volleyball league at Highlands Ranch Recreation Center, and both teams made it to the playoffs.
